Infrastructure Technical Consultant

Working closely with customers and Nviron’s support and account liaison services, the Infrastructure Technical consultant role offers access to engaging solutions deployed with outstanding vendors and market leading technologies.

Your responsibilities will include

Infrastructure implementation to agreed deliverables and timescales, participation in pre-sales solution design, defining software, hardware and network requirements, problem analysis and recommendation, preparing documentation, presenting progress reports to customers, development and packaging of new technology systems and services and preparing post consultancy project handover to our customer and the Support Team.

What are we looking for?

Successful candidates will have network infrastructure deployment experience either individually or as a key team deliverer, and possess skills in at least three of the following Technical areas:

 

  • Hyper-V or VMware

 

  • Shared Storage (Dell EMC EqualLogic, Compellent, vSAN, Storage Spaces)

 

  • Active Directory

 

  • Office365 and Exchange

 

  • VMware Horizon MS VDI

 

  • Veeam Backup and Disaster Recovery

Preferred qualifications

You will be qualified with industry qualifications from Microsoft or VMware with additional Implementation experience in the following areas preferred:

 

  • Office365

 

  • Azure

 

  • Networking (Wired or Wireless)

 

  • Capacity Planning/Analysis
